Ewloe Swing Park, Ewloe

Ewloe Swing Park
The swing park is in really good condition. There are a couple of swings, a couple of climbing frames, a modern seessaw and some animal things with springs that kids can sit on and bounce back and forwards (not sure of the technical name!)

The park is surrounded by a secure fence to keep the kids safe. There are benches to sit on to have a nice sit back and relax as your kids run around. Really nice park in good condition and one major bonus is the park always appears empty.

address: Head for Unilever on St.Davids Park; go past it and the park can be found on your left

Ewloe Castle, which was built around 1257, is a relic of a brief triumph that the Welsh prince Llywelyn ap Gruffudd had over the English Crown in the mid 13th century. Ewloe Castle, is a Grade I listed building, within Wepre Park; a country park managed by Flintshire County Council. The castle is located amidst peaceful, green woodlands next to a babbling stream. It can be reached by footpaths through Wepre Woods although wheelchair access would be difficult due to the number of steep steps up to and around the castle. Public access is free.
